Computer animations for teaching mathematics:
We offer readily available computer animations for teaching mathematics.
Their main purpose is to allow our fellow teachers to publish their work of a similar nature.
We would like our colleagues to know about each other's work and to allow interested students to see the results.
Our goal is to help our colleagues who teach mathematics with their tedious work. We are hopeful that
with this initiative (albeit modestly) we can promote the development of mathematical thinking.
We would like to start the series with a program by
dr. András Ringler related to
his work titled Let's Think "Greek" (Teaching Mathematics 2003/5, pg. 3-8.) The program displays
surprising geometrical solutions of quadratic equations.
